PURPOSE:To enable external data or the like to be displayed in a plurality of colors, by providing developing parts for different colors respectively on the upstream and downstream sides of a latent image forming part with respect to a relative movement direction of a displaying surface. CONSTITUTION:When an instruction for recording and displaying two-color image data on a displaying surface, a tacky image forming part 203 and a sheet-driving part are first driven, and a tacky image (colorless) for recording and displaying in the first color is formed on one of two screens on a loop form sheet member 1. When the formation of the tacky image for one screen is finished and the leading end of the image reaches the position of a first color (red) developing unit 200, the developing unit 200 is driven to start development of the tacky image formed as above. With a delay of a predetermined period of time behind the start of the first color (red) development, namely, with a delay of a period of time required for moving the sheet member 1 by the distance l1 from the developing unit 200 to the tacky image forming part 203, formation of a tacky image for the second color (black) is started, whereby it is possible to start the formation of the tacky image for the second color (black) on the first screen on the sheet member 1 on which the image in the first color (red) is visualized through development. |
