PURPOSE:To prevent the response of a step execution from worsening by closing the output of a RAM for detecting a break when a sub-routine is called and setting the return address of the sub-routine to a comparator for detecting the break. CONSTITUTION:When a target micro processor (target muP) 1 calls a sub-routine A in a LINE 2 and arrives at a LINEn, an output BR1 of a RAM for detecting a break becomes '1' and a target muP is stopped. At this time, a control CPU 2 closes a gate 6 with a signal G, analyzes a return address RET.ADR, sets it to a comparator 4 for detecting a break and re-executes the target muP1. Since the break due to the setting of a break RAM 3 is prohibited by the operation, a target muP1 does not break until it returns from the sub-routine, and the step in the sub-routine is skipped. Thus, the step execution for source lines with a good response can be easily realized. |
