PURPOSE:To stabilize granulation among each nozzle, separation length, a flow rate, etc., and to obtain the stabler flying state of ink droplets by providing a matching circuit matching load on the basis of an electric signal generated from an ultrasonic piezoelectric element by ultrasonic vibrations propagated in ink. CONSTITUTION:Ultrasonic vibrations generated from an ultrasonic vibrator 4 are propagated in ink in an ink chamber 2, and reach to an ultrasonic piezoelectric element 5 at another end of a head body 3. Consequently, the ultrasonic piezoelectric element 5 receives ultrasonic vibrations and outputs an electric signal corresponding to the vibrations, and load is matched at the end section of the head body 3, to which said ultrasonic piezoelectric element 5 is set up, by a matching circuit 6 on the basis of the electric signal. When load is matched, ultrasonic vibrational energy is converted efficiently into electric energy by the ultrasonic piezoelectric element 5, thus remarkably reducing the reflection of ultrasonic vibrations at said end section of the head body 3. Electric energy converted by the ultrasonic piezoelectric element 5 is consumed (by heat, etc.) in the matching circuit 6 at that time. |
