<p>This wind engine is characterized by a vertical axis rotor consisting of diametral arms which are free to oscillate around their horizontal axis due to the effect of the wind on blades placed at either end of each of them. These blades are positioned so as to offer maximum aerodynamic resistance on one end and minimum aerodynamic resistance on the other by means of the torsional reaction on the axis of the arm itself, mainly brought about by its own imbalance and also by the aerodynamic thrusts related to their positioning.</p> |
