The rotary transmission leadthrough for fluids has a fixed housing (1) with a hollow shaft (3) rotatably mounted therein and a first feed passage (6), provided coaxially to the hollow-shaft axis (A), for a fluid. A mechanical face seal (8) is provided between the inner end (3b) of the hollow shaft (3) and the first feed passage (6). A first, spring-loaded stop valve (9) is provided near the inner end (3b) of the hollow shaft in its flow passage (4). In its part lying inside the housing (1), the hollow shaft (3) has a radial bore (11) and is concentrically surrounded in the area of the radial bore (11) by a valve carrier (10) rotating with it. The valve carrier (10) has a radial flow bore (12) communicating with the radial bore (11) and having a second stop valve (13) arranged in it which is spring-loaded radially to the outside. The valve carrier (10) is surrounded by a hollow space (15) which is provided in the housing (1) and is itself connected to a second feed passage (16) for air arranged in the housing (1). <IMAGE>
