PURPOSE:To evade fluctuation in the perpendicular direction of a picture at the time of a strobe display by fixing the odd and even numbers of a video signal stored in a memory means at one of the odd number or the even number. CONSTITUTION:One field of the input video signal in a jump scanning system is stored into a memory 15. The writing and reading of the memory 15 is controlled by a microcomputer 4 and a controller 16, and one field of the input video signal is written to the memory 15 over a first period equivalent to the one field period at every cycle of 2nV (however, n=1, 2, 3,..., V is a perpendicular cycle), thereafter, the writing is stopped, and the video signal for one field stored into the memory 15 is repeatedly read over the second period longer than the first period. |
