The object of the invention is to transfer crown corks from a feeding channel to sealing elements of a high-performance bottle sealing machine in an operationally reliable fashion, while avoiding rapid acceleration and the feeding of two corks at the same time, both on a continuous basis and with reduction of noise levels. According to the invention, the object is achieved in that the end of the feeding channel is arranged so as to be vertical; the transfer wheel is conical and disclike with an angle of 90 degrees and has an axis of rotation at 45 degrees to the feeding channel; reception pockets with inlet outlines are situated on the transfer wheel; a controlled locking magnet is arranged alongside the feeding channel at the level of the last crown cork which is not yet situated in a reception pocket; and a further feeding magnet is arranged at an extension of the feeding channel beneath the reception pockets of the transfer wheel, the end of the feeding channel and the transfer wheel being composed of paramagnetic material. The invention is used in bottle sealing machines and relates to a device for transferring crown corks to sealing elements of a feeding channel, a transfer wheel being mounted between the end of the feeding channel and the sealing elements. <IMAGE>
