1. Plate shearing machine with a plate positioning device for positioning metal sheets (33) on the supporting table (1) of the machine, with a forward advance bar (3) which extends, parallel to the blades of the plate shearing machine, transversely over the supporting table (1) and is movable perpendicular to the cutting plane, and with a lateral stop (31; 32) which runs perpendicular to the cutting plane along the supporting table (1) and is arranged to be movable parallel to the cutting plane and to the blades, and with individual, spatially separated guide members (10) of the lateral stop (31; 32) being slidably, as well as liftably and lowerably supported in slot-shaped recesses (9) of the supporting table (1), characterised in that each of the guide members (10) supported on a common bar (7) is equipped with a guide body (11) joined to the bar (7), and said guide body (11) has at least one lateral stop in the form of a roller (31; 32), with which the edge to be guided of the metal sheet (33) makes contact, a guide and clamping fixture (10) for the metal sheet (33) being disposed before the roller (31; 32). |
