By a high frequency induction heating type joining appts. for a brake shoe lining, each lining (4) is abutted against each of the outer circubferental surfaces of juxtaposed shoe rims (2) with an adhesive between them and an electric current is passed to a high frequency induction coil (5) having turned sections to join each lining to each rim. The coil has turned sections positioned outside the opposite sides of the juxtaposed rims.
