The invention relates to a device for the horizontal slewing of a load suspended on a crane and is used in (un)loading processes in industry, in building and in transport. The aim of the invention is to produce an uncomplicated device with low weight which functions safely. This aim is achieved according to the invention in that, in a load connected to a frame, vane wheels of axial shape and motors driving these are arranged in the frame, in each case lying opposite at the ends of the frame, and are connected to a control line guided via a strain relief.
