<p>A thrust chain with its drive are used to transmit thrust and pull forces. The thrust chain is stiff on one side (stiff-backed) and stiff on all sides outside the driving and deflecting housings (2, 3), whereas the driving and deflecting housings allow for a variable input/output angle of the chain (20) during operation. Other characteristics of the invention are: the push force is transmitted from the chain to the driving/deflecting housing by means of a load carrying continuous band (9) arranged inside the housing; rollers are arranged in the housings or at the outer flanks of the chain links. The unused parts of the chain are kept in a special magazine.</p> |
