The disk drive of a data storage device includes a plurality of magnetic storage disks, which are arranged rigidly about a common central hub, which is connected to a drive, lying one behind the other along the axis of the hub. The disks have a central bore, which is larger than the diameter of the hub. For keeping the disks spaced apart, annular spacing elements and a clamping device, bracing the disks in the direction of the hub axis, are provided.
