PURPOSE:To exercise control over a terminal device provided with expanded function even under a program of the central processing device side, by editing attribute definition character information to perform a processing corresponding to an extension discrimination bit or significant information. CONSTITUTION:A transferred data part including attribute definition character information is is received in an on-line controlling part 1 and is sent to a microprogram controlling part through a data bus 2 and is edited and is stored in a data buffer 3 through the data bus. Attribute definition character information stored in the data buffer 3 is sent to a display controlling part 7 by a program of a memory 5 where the microprogram is stored, and display attributes of a field are determined in this part 7, and data of the field is displayed on a display 8 through the display controlling part 7. In case that data is inputted to a certain field of the data buffer 3 from an input unit 12 connected to an input controlling part 11, attribute definition characters are read out to a micro-CPU to determine attributes of the field, and input data is processed and is stored in the buffer 3. |
