A welding machine for manufacturing frames has for the frame corners welding units with movable welding mirrors on guide rails arranged at right angles to one another. Arranged on all guide rails are drive means for setting at least one welding unit along each of the guide rails and for setting a guide-rail support with regard to parallel guide rails. Here, tool units (35, 36) with tools which can be moved into frame struts and are provided with drives, in particular rotary drives, are additionally guided on guide rails (11, 12) which are arranged parallel to one another and can be adjusted with regard to one another.
