<p>A housing mounted on a lorry chassis is adapted to receive cans through an inlet (17), following the tipping of a can bank by means on the lorry. A ferrous detector (18) is used in conjuction with a magnet (19) to move ferrous cans to compartment (B), the other cans being in compartment (A). Hydraulic crushers (1-6) are used to create two cubes of material, one in each compartment, these cubes then passing down through trapdoors (13, 14). <IMAGE></p> |
