ASSAY FOR DETECTING HEPATITIS ANTIGENS AND AIDS ANTIBODIES

An assay is provided for detecting whether or not either of the HBsAg or HIV antibody is present in a suspected fluid. A first reagent is provided comprising a solid surface having bound thereto a peptide having an epitope capable of binding to a paratope of a HIV antibody and a solid surface having bound thereto an antibody specific HBsAg.
