PURPOSE:To make a recording body usable as a heat-sensitive recording body for a label which is required to have strictly high resistance against medicines, by arranging a heat-sensitive color generating layer to contain a specific leuco dye and specific two kinds of color developing agents, said color developing agents having a specific weight distribution ratio. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensitive color generating layer and a protecting layer are sequentially provided on a support body. The heat-sensitive color generating layer contains a leuco dye represented by a formula (1), and color developing agents represented by formulae (2) and (3). The weight distribution ratio of the color developing agents represented by the formulae (2) and (3) is set to be 10 parts/1 part-1 part/1 part, and preferably 8 parts/1 part-2 parts/1 part. If the color developing agent of the formula (2) is mixed more, the recording body decreases the preserving stability to water, and therefore an image recorded by the recording body considerably loses its color under circumstances of high humidity or when it sinks in the water. On the contrary, if the color developing agent of the formula (2) is less mixed, the image loses its stability to kinds of plasticizer or oil. |
