A generally binderless offset printing ink for the printing of plastic cores which are subsequently laminated with plastic sheets to durably enclose the core. Due to the composition of the ink, the plastic sheets perfectly adhere everywhere to the core. The fixation of the ink takes place during thermal lamination. The printing ink is used in the preparation of certain security documents such as credit cards.
