A cathod ray tube comprises; a tube proper provided at one end therof with a face plate; a reflectionless transparent plate spaced from the front surface of the face plate of the tube proper, and an adhesive agent having as a main component thereof an unsaturated polyester main chain and as a cross-linking agent thereof the combination of styrene or one stytene derivative with at least one other cross- linking agent with constituents of the adhesive agent is such that prior to curing the material of the adhesive agent has a viscosity at 25≦̸C in the range of 1.5 to 6.0 cps.
