PURPOSE:To provide a highly stable stratified mineral and leuco dye interlaminar compound, by intercalating stratified mineral and leuco dye in an organic solvent with a specific donor number. CONSTITUTION:1-50pts.wt., preferably 5-30pts.wt. of stratified mineral are suspended in an organic solvent with the donor number of not less than 13 and not more than 50, for example, 100pts.wt. of said organic solvent such as dimethyl formamide, acetonitrile, dimethyl sulfoxide and dimethyl acetoamide, further 1-150pts.wt., preferably 10-100 parts by weight of leuco dye are added to 100pts.wt. of said stratified mineral so that both are intercalated, and a stratified mineral and leuco dye interlaminar compound is prepared by filtration and drying. Typically as said stratified mineral, a clay mineral having a stratified crystal structure is applied arbitrarily. Usually as said leuco dye, that applied widely to heat-sensitive materials can be applied arbitrarily. |
