They can be prepared by analogous processes, for example from suitable hydroxyacrylic acid esters with suitable alkylating agents, from suitable acetic acid esters with suitable formamides or their derivatives, or from suitable oxalic acid derivatives and suitable organometal compounds. Some of the hydroxyacrylic acid esters are also novel. |
