<p>A double clutch mechanism is disclosed for use within a starter assembly (10) for selectively coupling power to start a turbine engine (11). The double clutch includes a primary engagement assembly (21) and a secondary engagement assembly (22), either of which may be of the pawl and ratchet type or the sprag type, for coupling power to the enging (11) and preventing overrunning of the starter assembly (10).</p> |
