An image signal processing circuit device comprises : a recursive comb-type filter for deriving from a video signal including a vertical high frequency signal component having a noise signal ; an amplitude limiter for limiting the amplitude of the vertical high frequency signal component so as to produce as output of the noise signal ; an operation circuit for processing the video signal and the noise signal output by the amplitude limiter ; and a switch circuit for obtaining as an output of the image signal processing circuit.
