PURPOSE:To retain an oxidation prevention effect on an organic photosensitive body by developing with a developer containing antioxidant particles. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic charge image formed on the surface of the organic photosensitive body is developed by a brush developing method by using a developer containing toner particles and the antioxidant particles (A) obtained by pulverizing a hindered phenol, such as 2,6-t-butyl-p-cresol, or a phosphorus type antioxidant, and classifying it when needed. Carrier particles may be added to the developer and in addition, fine inorganic particles may be also added, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be enhanced in durability and to prevent fogging due to deterioration of sensitivity. |
