Eine Fuge in einer Fahrbahn überbrückende extrudierte elastomere Matte (12), einteilig oder aus getrennten Längsabschnitten (11, 13) bestehend, weist an den zur Fuge parallelen Rändern jeweils nach unten abstehende Rippen (17) auf, die formschlüssig in eine nach oben offene Nut eines Rand- bzw. Zwischenprofils (4) eingreifen, unter Belassung eines leeren Restraumes (21) zwischen Rippen und unterem Nutumfang. Dieser Restraum (21) wird von der Oberseite her über Gusskanäle formende Löcher oder Schlitze (26) in der Matte (12) mit einem auch die Gusskanäle vollständig füllenden Verguss (20) aus elastomeren Kunstharz von etwa gleicher Härte als jene der Matte (12) ausgegossen, wodurch eine unlösbare Verbindung zwischen den Rippen (17) und den jeweiligen Halteprofilen (4) gebildet wird. Besteht die Matte (12) aus getrennten Längsabschnitten, so werden die Gussschlitze (26) durch die Trennfugen zwischen den Abschnitten (11, 13) gebildet. Am Mattenrand, oder an deren Randabschnitt (11), ist ein die Isolierung (9) der Fahrbahn überlappender Streifen (10) angeformt.
