A floating bridge comprising floating pontoons (5) at the water surface, and a bridge path (6) supported by said pontoons above the water surface. The bridge path is in the shape of a box girder, preferably a steel box girder (6) the cross-sectional shape of which is designed to achieve a negative lift when subjected to wind. Bridge path (6) is provided with a horizontal curvature and is secured in land based foundations (2, 3) by the aid of universal joints (7, 8). |
