PURPOSE:To obtain the title heat storage material free of a problem of bleeding of a heat storage material and capable of being uniformly mixed with a thread compost as a horticultural heat storage material by forming a resin layer of the surface of a thread heat storage material formed by impregnating a carrier comprising a resin or a natural material formed in the form of a thread with a heat storage material under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a thread heat-storage material formed by impregnating a carrier comprising a thread-like resin (e.g., crosslinked polyolefin resin) or natural material (e.g., cotton) preferably being impregnable with wax is sprayed with a coating solution formed by dissolving a resin forming a bleeding resin layer, which is at least one member selected from among a polycarbonate resin, a polyurethane resin, a methacrylic resin, a blend thereof, etc., and having excellent wax barrier property and elasticity in an organic solvent or water, desirably, in a step of winding the thread heat storage material with a roller or the like to form a resin layer for preventing bleeding of heat storage material on the surface of said heat storage material. |
