PURPOSE:To extend a power source held timer for a camera through the operation of accessories by designing a means starting a camera main body with the aid of the accessories as hardware connected to a line in common with a power source starting means and designing a means extending the power source hold timer as software. CONSTITUTION:The accessories, that is, flashing light generator 101 and data bag 201, are provided. The title system includes a camera starting signal outputting means outputting a signal for starting the power source 10 of a camera to a camera main body 1, and a camera power source extending signal outputting means outputting a signal for extending the time required for holding the power source of the camera. The system is moreover provided with the power source starting means starting the power source 10 of the camera in response to the camera starting signal, and the power source hold timer means holding the camera starting signal from either the accessory 101 or 201, or the power source 10 of the camera in a prescribed time after the camera power source extending signal was inputted. As a result, the power source hold timer of the camera main body can be extended through the operation of the accessories. |
