<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate unnecessary parts and space and hence to miniaturize the recorder in light weight by using open reels and providing a specific tape take-up mechanism and an automatic control mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The title recorder is provided with the tape take-up mechanism having such a construction that a tape 20 to be used with the open reels 18 and 19 mounted on reel bases 8 and 9 and a gear 3 coupled directly with a rotational shaft 2 of a capstan 1, which is meshed with a planetary gear train consisting of an odd number of gears 4-6 provided to a turning piece 7 fitted freely turnably around the position of the rotational shaft 2 of the capstan 1, are respectively connected with two juxtaposed reel bases 8 and 9, and a space between the bases is so arranged that the leading gear 6 of the planetary gear train is positioned in between two gears 10 and 11 having a larger diameter respectively than the diameter of the leading gear 6 of the planetary gear train, and in addition, the automatic control mechanism for reversing the direction of an electric current to be supplied to a DC motor 12 for driving the capstan by detecting the end of the tape 20 is equipped. By this method, the recorder can be constituted out of parts in less quantity and in a small size, thus achieving the miniaturization and light weight.</p> |
