PURPOSE: To ensure less-noise flexible collision and reduce the dynamic rigidity of an engine mount by hanging a ring shaped stopper disc into a loose fitting portion so as to damp its axial and radial motion. CONSTITUTION: A tensile and compressive stopper includes a ring shaped stopper disc 12 protruded from the end at the inside of a cylindrical additional portion 11 forced into an operating room 1 for a supporting plate 7. The inside edge of the stopper disc 12 is hung in a loose fitting portion 14 to be damped with rubber elasticity. When the stopper disc 12 contacts an intermediate plate 3 or a stopper ring 13, a supporting spring 5 is successively shifted from soft spring rigidity to hard spring rigidity. Additionally, the stopper disc 12 works as a mass to vibrate against a metal supporting plate 7 when excited. In this way, less-noise soft collision is ensured and the dynamic rigidity of an engine mount is reduced. |
