PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a superconductive wire of a high critical current density and a high strength by composing a structure arranging a core member which is composed by covering a stabilized basic material with a diffusion-preventive layer, and furthermore, providing a high resistant metal layer thereover, inside a superconductive member. CONSTITUTION:Plural stabilized basic materials 10 which consist of a good conductive metal material, and a shielding layer made of a high resistant metal to separate the stabilized basic materials 10 one by one are provided. Furthermore, a core member 23 which consists of the stabilized basic materials 10 and a diffusion-preventive layer 15, and a superconductive member 28 formed by arranging superconductive filaments in a metallic base body, which cover the core member 23 are provided. As a result, a compound type superconductive wire presenting a high critical current density, with a high mechanical strength and a compact structure can be obtained.
