PURPOSE:To reduce stain and to prolong the lives of a parts by stopping the driving of a photosensitive body driving means from a specified timing after one side of a document is fed onto a platen glass to another specified timing when the other side of the document is placed on the platen glass. CONSTITUTION:The title device possesses a function for feeding the document 13 onto the platen glass 14, refuging said document 13 and inverting it so that it is fed onto the platen glass 14 again. A driving stopping means 16 stops the driving of the photosensitive body driving means 12 from the specified timing after one side of the document is fed onto the platen glass 14 by an automatic document feeder 15 to another specified timing when the other side of the document 13 is placed on the platen glass 14. Until the document 13 is set on the platen glass 14, the driving of the photosensitive body driving means 12 can be stopped. Thus, wasteful driving on the main body side of the recording device can be stopped and the stain inside the device and the progress of the consumption of the parts can be reduced. |
