<p>PURPOSE:To prevent defective head and to attain high speed recording without reducing intelligibility, by using picture data processing decreasing black information corresponding to the temperature of heads. CONSTITUTION:Data DATA before processing inputted to a picture processing circuit 1 are converted into profile data, 1 bit in thickness and given from an OR gate OR1 to an OR gate OR2. An AND gate circuit AND 3 generates a hatching data S-H DaTa with logical product between a frequency-division output from a frequency division circuit 2 and an output S-STD of a flip-flop circuit FF 2 being picture information before processing. A thermister 3 detects the temperature of the thermal head. When the temperature of the thermal head is a reference value or below, the data before processing is given to the thermal head as it is, and when the temperature of the thermal head reaches the reference value, the data of the profile processed at a picture information processing circuit 1 is selected.</p> |
