ADJUSTABILE APPARATUS FOR SEWING MACHINE THREAD TENSIONING DEVICE

The sewing machine incorporates a tensioning installation for the needle thread with two clamping discs positioned on a pivot. The discs are connected to two adjusting components via a spring mechanism. At least one of the components is positioned on a threaded section of the pivot and the spring action is removed intermittently through a mechanism. The first adjusting component (a nut) is designed as an outer part while the second component (a screw) is an inner part. The outer part is accommodated by a stationary carrier carried by the inner part. Each adjusting component is equipped with a spring and a release disc and the mechanism for the removal of the spring action consists of a release tube and rod.
