PURPOSE:To improve the adhesive strength of positive and negative terminal assemblies to insulating sealing material by forming chromate film on a surface section which comes into contact with insulating sealing material of positive and negative terminal assemblies and putting insulating sealing material of resin which contains a carboxyl group as a polar group between the peripheral sections of the terminal assemblies to stick fast the insulating sealing material on them. CONSTITUTION:A power generating element 16 where a positive sheet 15, a separator 14 and a negative sheet 13 are laminated in this order is arranged between sheet-like positive and negative terminal assemblies 12 and 11, and a frame-like insulating sealing material 17 is put between the peripheral sections of the positive and negative terminal assemblies 12 and 11 to stick them fast so that the power generating element 16 is sealed up. Then, the surface section coming into contact with the insulating sealing material 17 of the positive and negative terminal assemblies 12 and 11 is covered with chromate film, and the insulating sealing material 17 is formed with resin which contains a carboxyl group as a polar group. As a result, may ol-bonds of chromate film and the carboxyl group which is the polar group of the insulating sealing material 17 are hydrogen-bonded. Thereby, an adhesive strength of the positive and negative terminal assemblies to the insulating sealing material can be improved so that is is possible to prevent peeling and leakage of electrolyte at the time of use. |
