SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To decrease after-colors and to improve the preservable property of the above material with age by subjecting the emulsion layers of said material to spectral sensitization by one selected from a group consisting of cationic di- and tricabocyanine dyes and providing a specific hydrophilic colloidal layer thereto. CONSTITUTION:The emulsion layers are subjected to the spectral sensitization by one selected from the group consisting of the cationic di- and tricabocyanine dye. This material has the hydrophilic colloidal layer contg. at least one selected from the group consisting of hepta and nonamethinecyanine dyes consisting of a pyrrolopyridine ring, thienopyrrole ring and flopyrrole ring contg. 1 acid groups or at least >=2 substituents having 1 pieces of the formula-CH2CH2OR (R is a hydrogen atom or alkyl group) in the dye molecule as the base nuclei. The after-colors are thereby decreased and the preservable property with age is improved.
