PURPOSE:To obtain the image quality which is equal to the initial image quality even after continuous copying by coating the surface of a toner supplying member with a polymer, etc., of a specific monomer and impressing the bias of a specific potential to the toner supplying member. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the toner supplying member is coated with the polymer of the monomer expressed by formula or a copolymer of said monomer and other vinyl monomer or a compd. contg. one kind selected therefrom and the bias of the positive potential higher by 0-500V than the potential of a toner transporting member is impressed to the toner supplying member. In formula R1 is H or CH3; R2 is H or alkyl group of 1-6C. The vinyl monomer to be copolymerized with the monomer expressed by formula is exemplified by acrylate, etc. No abnormality is thereby admitted in the image even after continuous copying and the image equality equal to the initial image quality is obtd. |
