PURPOSE:To reduce the abrasion of metals due to the friction of jet of COM (a mixture of finely divided coal and heavy oil), and to perform favorable spraying, by finely dividing the COM, that is discharged in the form of a rod at a low speed, by highly pressurized high speed air jetted from inclined grooves. CONSTITUTION:The fuel oil discharged from small holes 11 normally to pierced holes 10 in a core main body 8 and a fuel oil pipe 18 is blown by the highly pressurized high speed air jetted upward aslant from the coaxial inclined grooves 12 to be dispersed like mist. A tapered surface 9 of the core main body 8 between small holes 11a, 11b has no inclined groove to save the power of the highly pressurized air and increases the jet speed of the highly pressurized air from the inclined grooves 12. Consequently, the abrasion of the metal due to the friction of jet of the COM can be remarkably reduced, and favorable spraying can be effected. |
