PURPOSE:To obtain a microemulsion which is stable even when added to other aq. system by emulsifying a hydrophilic surfactant, silicone oil having specified properties, monohydric alcohol, polyhydric alcohol, saccharides and water. CONSTITUTION:A hydrophilic surfactant, silicone oil contg. >=0.5wt.% silicone having >=12 Si atoms, monohydric alcohol and polyhydric alcohol and/or saccharides are emulsified in a system contg. water to obtain a microemulsion used for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, etc. The weight ratio between the surfactant and the oil component is regulated to 1:(0.5-10) and the average particle size to 0.01-0.1mum. The microemulsion has high stability and exists stably even when added to other aq. system. |
