<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of processes to discriminate IC attributes by providing a mark for discriminating the attributes to show the IC attributes to an external lead terminal of a semiconductor case. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor case body 1 has a plurality of external lead terminals 2 which are connected to an IC sealed in the inside thereof and expose to the outside. Each external lead terminal 2 has attributes which are determined by the IC. For example, external lead terminals 2c, 2d have attributes as an earth terminal and power source terminal, respectively. The discrimination mark 3 has colors corresponding to the attributes of the IC such as red for the attributes of a power source terminal and blue for the attributes of an earth terminal; and each is provided on the surface of the external lead terminals 2c, 2d. According to this constitution, when mounting a semiconductor case on a substrate, attributes of an IC inside the semiconductor case body 1 can be readily discriminated through visual observation.</p> |
