ASSEMBLING DEVICE FOR AUTOMATICALLY JOINING AGGREGATE WITH AUTOMOBIEL CAR BODY FROM LOWER SIDE

PURPOSE: To automatically assemble car body of automobile by forming a receiver plate to be fitted to an assembly frame so as to be lifted from a previously centered basic position to a working position capable of performing the limited floating movement. CONSTITUTION: An elevating device 10 provided under an assembly frame 9 is formed so that a bulk material 14 of a receiver plate 12 is centered at a position appropriate for fitting for fixation to a car body 1 through a screw by lifting the receiver plate 12 at the time of assembling. Each receiver plate 12 has a centering pin 17 for centering the bulk material 14 on the receiver plate 12. A pin part 24 of the centering pin 17 has a taper part 25 so as to be engaged with a centering hole 23 in a lower side of the car body 1 even in the case where the centering hole 23 and an axis of the projecting centering pin part 24 are displaced from each other.
