For the execution of a main feed motion (8), the spinning rollers (3) are arranged on a feed slide (1) and are rotatably mounted on a roller mounting (17). To allow the setting of an axial offset, each roller mounting (17) is assigned its own offset slide (20), this being arranged on the feed slide (1) in a manner which allows it to be adjusted relative to the latter. Each offset slide (20) is furthermore assigned a motor-driven offset feed device (21) which forms an intermediary between it and the feed slide (1). <IMAGE>
