The aim of the invention is that a bearing for a spherical plug of a ball valve should be provided at the inlet and outlet of the through hole with respective abrasion-resistant sealing rings which are integrated into plastic shells. This allows the use of a clearance-free ball valve for media containing abrasive or fibrous admixtures.
