The invention proposes a female part for delimiting filling spaces on filling of natural teeth with filling materials for the production of a dental filling, the female part comprising at least one separating strip (1) which can be inserted between two teeth in order to delimit the filling space and particularly expediently has a reinforcing element (2) and a holder (3). The reinforcing element (2) very particularly has a triangular cross-section adapted to the shape of the interdental space and having a wedge-shaped design in the axial direction. The shape of the holder (3) on its inside (3') is adapted so as to complement the inner or outer surfaces of the teeth. The holder (3) expediently has a handle on the outside. The material used is preferably a transparent, flexible, dimensionally stable plastic material.
