Fertiliser spreader with a rotary-driven centrifugal spreading unit for the distribution of fertilisers and the like, having a supply container which possesses metering elements for at least one, preferably two centrifugal discs arranged next to one another transversely to the direction of travel, each centrifugal disc being equipped with at least one, preferably two throwshovels, the throwshovels being arranged on the respective centrifugal disc so as to be angularly pivotable in the disc plane and fixable in different positions, and each angularly pivotable throwshovel being assigned, for an accurate angle setting, retaining and/or setting markings which are designed, for example, as setting scales cooperating with the throwshovels. In order to arrange the setting markings cooperating with the throwshovels on the centrifugal discs in such a way that they are not worn away or gummed up by the fertiliser particles until they cannot be seen, provision is made for the setting markings (20) cooperating with the respective throwshovels (12) to be arranged on the centrifugal discs (11) in the region which does not come into contact at all or comes into contact at least only very little with the fertiliser particles to be thrown off by the throwing elements (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
