Polyamide polymers having an antistatic finish

Polyamides are rendered antistatic by incorporation of the reaction product of a polyamide having substantially the same repeating units with a polyether polyol or an isocyanate-modified polyether polyol. In examples reaction products of polyethylene glycol (M.W. 850) with a polyamide from 6 or 9 mols. caprolactam and 1 mol. adipic acid, with and without toluylene diisocyanate respectively, are incorporated in nylon 6.
