The invention relates to a belt stripper for belt conveyors, having a stripper moulding which can press against the belt, runs over the loading width and is arranged on securing means which are disposed, on both sides of the discharging drum, such that they can pivot at least in the running direction of the belt. In the case of said belt stripper, the intention is to shorten the lifting-off path for the stripper moulding and to reduce the forces of inertia which have to be overcome. For this purpose, the invention provides that each securing means is designed as a double link (17) with a connecting rocker (19) as bearing means for the stripper moulding (16), and is arranged spatially with respect to the drum (10) with, upon pivoting of the links (17), a linear-tangential movement direction, of the stripper moulding (16), with respect to the surface of the drum (10). <IMAGE>
