Electrochemical cell

An electrochemical cell, in particular a lithium cell, has, between each pair electrodes, separators composed of microglass fibres consolidated by means of a binder in the form of a butadiene rubber. This binder is compatible with an organic electrolyte in the form of a solvent mixture of ethylene carbonate and dioxolane in which a conducting salt in the form of the salt of perchloric acid has been dissolved.
