The invention "Plough appliance for making a seedbed" relates to a plough appliance having preferably a plurality of ploughshares, arranged in an upper bearing frame on a vertically adjustable, movable, self-supporting plough structure, in the form of implement rotors which allow the seedbed to be ploughed directly. The plough appliance is drawn by a traction machine, the ploughshares being drivable via the power take-off shaft of the latter and bearing shafts. Since this is possible with a lower expenditure of force than in ploughshares mounted fixedly in terms of rotation, the dead weight and pulling force of the traction machine can be selected lower. The ploughshares are arranged with their bearing shaft respectively between the front and the rear bearing arm in a manner offset laterally and in succession downwards relative to the rolling plane. The ploughshares jointly rotatable in the same direction to the right and left have the form of rotationally symmetrical rotor housings with a front circular cutter wing and a central shaft stub, from which ploughshare blades respectively extend radially outwards and in the longitudinal direction. The bearing shafts of the ploughshares of equal size are oriented in a common horizontal plane parallel to the rolling plane of the plough appliance.
