Steering fork for motor cycles - has adjustable hardness oil and pneumatic shock absorber in fork guide tubes

The steering fork for a motor cycle has a guide tube with sliding shock absorbers. A shock absorber has a spring and its piston rod is connected with the guide tube. The arrangement has a combined oil and pneumatic shock absorber or pressurised gas shock absorber. The lower part of the shock absorber forms the telescopic fork end on the wheel fork. The shock absorber (5) is guided in the guide tube (4) in the sleeve (6) with a gap between the shock absorber and guide tube. The bearing sleeve encloses a circular lubricant chamber with the inner walls of the guide tube and outer wall of the shock absorber.
